Data Consultant

We’re on the lookout for a Data Consultant to join our team of Wizards!

As a Data Consultant your mission would typically include:

• Supporting the Data & Tooling team within OPC (Operational Permanent Control)

• Producing and maintaining existing data samples (execution and adaptation of SAS pipelines)

• Designing and developing new data pipelines (identifying data sources and structuring datasets)

• Delivering reporting and control indicators related to OPC activities

• Ensuring data quality, traceability, and reliability in a control-driven environment

• Contributing to continuous improvement and industrialization of data pipelines

• Balancing run activities (recurring production) and build initiatives (enhancements and structuring)

• Collaborating with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and business teams

You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:

Background:

• 2 to 6 years of experience in data-related roles

• Experience in structured corporate environments (banking is a strong plus)

• Hybrid profile combining operational delivery and improvement initiatives

• Comfortable working in demanding and sometimes unstructured environments

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with SAS (execution, reading, and adapting existing pipelines)

• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, autonomous data extraction and structuring)

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dataset manipulation)

• Advanced PowerPoint (clear and structured communication for stakeholders)

Nice to have:

• Python (automation, data manipulation)

• Power BI (dashboarding, KRI/reporting)

• Experience with data pipelines and legacy-to-modern transitions

Soft Skills:

• Resilience and adaptability in changing environments

• Ability to manage both repetitive tasks (BAU) and evolving topics

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including with demanding audiences

• High level of rigor and attention to detail (control context)

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

• Clear communication and professional posture

• Ability to explain complex topics in a structured and understandable way

Practical Info:

Languages: Dutch, English, and French (trilingual profile is a strong plus)
